Alevi, Yarsan, Ahl’e Haq

Mostly spread out in a vast geographic sphere from North of China to Balkan, and from Iran to India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Syria etc., these communities have various names with which they’re known in their own regions. Alevi, Ghezelbash, Noseyri, Yazidi, Izadi, Yarsan, Bektashi, Ahl’e Haq etc., are some of the names they are called with, depending on the region they occupy. What is certain is that traces of Abrahamian Religions such as Christianity and Islam, and Allegorical Religions such as Manichaean and Mithraism have been observed in their belief system. Converts to these Rites have always lived away from society and in closed colonies and made efforts, in secret, to follow up with their own spiritual beliefs. In their path, sometime under duress and pressure from the permeating culture, and sometime by choice, they have accepted and ushered important and effective figures from other religions, or even allegories, in their literature and rites.
